The Movement of God: Who Are You Lord? (Acts 9:1 - 30)

Elaine walks us through the conversion of Saul, as he meets with Jesus on his way to kill Christians.

She talks about how Jesus asks Saul: “Why are you persecuting me?” This question makes Saul realise that Jesus takes any persecution of Christ-followers personally. It also makes Saul address his inward self. He is blinded, humbled and forced to consider what is going on within.

Elaine focuses on Ananias. How this man obeyed God, even though it was a dangerous thing to let Saul into his home and pray for him. Trusting God in the face of well founded fear will prove the authenticity of our faith.
