Anne’s Story

Life so often has dramatic twists and turns, and my husband died just days before we were due to move to Fern Grove in the early 1990s. We had four daughters, so the girls and I (Judith, 12, Rachel,10, Sarah, 7 and Ruth 5) moved without him.  At this time, we experienced many miracles around the details of the move and endless support from the church family.  Elaine Rees, a friend from the Tab, joined us in Fern Grove in 1995, initially because she needed somewhere to live, but over time becoming ‘part of the family’!  She remained my housemate after the girls left, and we moved together to a smaller house in the Dingle in 2021.
