Fliss’s Story

I moved to Liverpool 24 years ago to do a discipleship training course with my long-term aim of working overseas but God had over plans! Around 12 years ago God clearly spoke to me about doing ‘church’ at Toxteth Tabernacle, I had no idea what that would look like or when. In the summer of 2013, a small group of us started meeting in Toxteth on a Sunday afternoon, initially at John Archer Hall, then here at The Tab. The first Sunday that we went to the morning service it felt an exciting day to celebrate a new start especially as it was also Greek Orthodox Easter, celebrating new life.
