Stella’s Story

At Christmas the Deaconess Margaret Saunders used to arrange Christmas dinner for those living in the district who would be on their own at Christmas.  My eldest sister was always one of the helpers.  My sister Pauline and I used to make a huge number of mince pies for the event.
